Gotta love the ncaa not allowing the home team to have home field advantages like being the home team and getting walkup music

Unanswered from other thread:

Any word on how they'll handle the games today with the impending rain? It looks like it may clear by 7pm but I worry about what they do with the 2pm Bryant/Sela game..... Will they just delay it until late as frick or play it tomorrow?

No logical reason for this. Hey, congrats on being a national seed and playing at home. In the most important game of the regional, you're the visitor.

Especially when the two teams playing in the game both have played the same number of games as the home team

Its a toss, but its just an idiotic way of deciding it.

If LSU wins. That pretty much guarantees LSU would be the home team in Regional final Sunday

Thats great and all, but we should be guaranteed more home designations than the rest of the teams

Game 3 (SLU/Bryant) is played before game 4 (LSU/Hou). it's that simple.

Last year, wasn't LSU the visitor vs SHSU and again vs ULL?

The reason it went unanswered the first time is because it will be handled the same way it is always handled.

Games will be played around the rain, if there is any rain.

Not necessarily true. Oxford regional got zero rain after 6 pm yesterday but the whole day was wiped out

As Bobby Boucher said... "clap hands... clap hands"

Really. LSU went through the season and earned the home field advantage. Unless we are coming out of the losers bracket against a winners bracket opponent we should never been the away team in our own Region. If you don't like it, win more and get your own regional.

This is exactly why I asked. They could've started Game 1 in Oxford at 7 last night and maybe gotten a ridiculously late game 2 in. Simply asking if we have any indication of their intentions for games 3&4 today/tonight in BR.

The forecast for yesterday was rain.

How much did it rain during the games?

Yea I'm fully aware of the regular ineptitude of weathermen and their forecasts. But... Uhh... Good luck with no rain today.
