Even though they are in the junior circuit now, I can't stop following them. Stro for life.

As well as Folty in AAA. 10k last night.

Hader is VERY VERY impressive especially considering he is pitching at the Hangar

He's a lefty, too

Only 20 years old. 3 years younger than the average player in A+ ball

Is there any chance AJ Reed falls to that pick?

I doubt it, but wouldn't that be awesome if he did. That's a player who could quickly make his way through the system.

Don't we still have another PTBNL coming from the Rockies trade?

I've seen mocks where he is as high as 22nd or as low as the 40's.

I think no one can predict the mlb draft at all

I'm actually interested in the Astros again all of a sudden.

I've somewhat followed the prospects in the minors, so it's nice to hear it's not going to be too long before more get called up.

Singleton should be called up in june, Folty might as well if not June sometime this year for sure.

Domingo Santana could/should get a call up in September.

Bud Selig and Uncle Drayton can choke on a dick
quote:

Major League Baseball commissioner Bud Selig said Friday he remains concerned about the Astros’ legal issues concerning Comcast SportsNet Houston and former team owner Drayton McLane but is hopeful that the disagreements can be resolved.

However, Selig discounted the possibility of splitting the five-state territory shared by the Astros and Rangers into separate TV territories as a possible answer to the carriage issues that has limited CSN Houston viewership to no more than 40 percent of Houston’s TV households.

“I’m concerned here. I’m concerned in Los Angeles (where Time Warner Cable’s Dodgers network has similar carriage issues),” Selig said. “We have tried to play every constructive role that we can in this process, and we will continue to do so.”

CSN Houston, which is owned by the Astros, Comcast and Rockets, is under Chapter 11 bankruptcy petition, and Jim Crane’s Astros ownership group also has filed suit against McLane, who was one of Selig’s staunchest allies when he owned the team, and Comcast related to the sale of McLane’s CSN Houston ownership share.

“I’m sorry about the litigation,” he said. “I don’t like any litigation. I’m always very concerned about the image of the sport, so I hope we can play a role in getting this done.”

DirecTV executive Dan York recently said MLB’s large, overlapping broadcast territories make it tough for satellite carriers to pay for CSN Houston while also carrying Rangers games on Fox Sports Southwest, but Selig said, “I don’t know that that’s really the issue here.”

He said he was delighted with the presence of the Astros and Rangers in the American League West, which was a condition of the Astros’ 2012 sale to Crane, adding, “I would do it again. I know there were some concerns down here, but it’s going to work out great.”
