Country Kitchen is just a buffet but I always find it to be pretty good for what it is. If you want some southern/country cooking in Gonzales it is about your only bet.

I think they have fried catfish on Friday, which is pretty good, always have fried and baked chicken ( the fried is fantastic) a couple of other entree choices and plenty of veggies to choose from, as well as a salad bar and dessert. You can always find something you like

Country kitchen is just simple good food. If you want something slightly more elegant than a buffet, i would recommend Filay's, T-Wayne's, south of philly, mike's poboys, leader's, and carlico cafe
