LA Purchase Card and lotto tickets

Was just at Roberts in W. Esplanade in Metairie. Waiting in line at the service desk to check out. Woman in front of me used LA Purchase card to buy some groceries and then bought $ 30 of lotto tickets.

Pretty anything anyone wants to buy with that card is ok. I'm wouldn't be surprised if you couldn't make monthly car payments with it

La purchase card =\= food stamps
They use that card for several different programs which have no spending restrictions. At that point, it's just a debit card.

Her lawyer will claim the prize, pay her in cash, and she'll keep her card. She'll drop her kids off at school in an Caddy, they will eat their free lunch, and then go see their psychiatrist so that they will also still get their "crazy check" each month. Come tax season, she'll sell her kids SSN to the highest bidder so that they can claim a child tax credit. She probably lost at least 5 flat screens tvs in the latest flooding also, so they'll be an insurance claim check to cash.
