1000 WTDITW

I want to like it but I am just not sure if it is box office worthy or just wait for DVD. Who is going to see it?

I likely won't see it in theaters, but will definitely check it out on DVD.

Felt the same way about Ted actually (and I liked that one).

I'm gonna check it out.

The Back to the Future gag alone won me over.

i read they literally showed all the jokes in the trailer including a cameo that would have been awesome to see in the movie and not in the trailer

Yeah, they really, really should have saved that cameo. Now everyone knows it, when it would undoubtably be the cameo of the year if they kept it secret,

I'm not a McFarlane fan so I'll wait for it to come on FX in 2 years..unless the reviews on RT are really, really good.

In fairness, this is said at one point or another of virtually every comedy that comes out now.

But yea, showing that cameo probably spoiled (or at the least, lessened) what would have been one of the best moments of the movie.

Yeah I was pissed that they showed that cameo in the previews. That would've killed in the theaters

Just terrible marketing

I think McFarlane is too smug to pull something like this off.

I'm assuming it got leaked, thus MF's tweet of "Since the cat's out of the bag..."

Also, it was filmed on the old BTTF3 set, correct? So those comparisons/rumors were inevitable I guess.

The preview did not really make me laugh + MacFarlane seemed like a really bad actor.

I enjoyed Ted.

something about him screaming "OH MY GOD THAT WENT SOUTH SO FAST" really turned me off to this movie.

I agree with that somewhat, he's not my favorite but I'll check it out on DVD regardless like I did Ted

Something like what?

He made a spoof film that allows him to do cutaway gags, that's right up the family guy alley

Yeah, that was exactly what put me in the "He's a bad actor" camp.
