Has this thread been made yet? If so I'd love to see a link. I will be doing some traveling throughout the southeast this summer and am just curious what places between Lafayette and Destin,Fla North to Memphis/Birmingham are good places to catch the world cup.

Good People Brewing is where AOs watch US games in Birmingham. I don't know what they're doing for the rest of the Cup, though. J. Clyde is going to have some stuff going on for it.

Destin,Fla
Drive to Ft Walton and watch the games at Hell n Back im sure they will show them. Great food great staff and good prices.
Time Out in Destin is nice but expensive good times. I cant wait for the chance to move back down there.
The irish pub across the street from time out is kind of meh actually.

In Memphis Brass Door downtown is where the Memphis AO usually go. In midtown Celtic is going to be the most crowded bar during the WC. Alot of the regulars that watch Saturday and Sunday mornings at Celtic are going to the Bayou for the Ghana game, because it will be less crowded.

Celtic is cool. I've been there. Seems sort of small though.

Yea, Celtic is a good place to be. The bartenders know and are soccer fans, theres a hostel down the street so there is usually some Europeans around that are fun to talk to during some matches, and they have a good patio. The bad thing is though, it can get super crowded fast, and also its the most stereotypical irish bar that the walk in soccer fans will come to for the world cup.

If any of you guys are in the DC area next month I highly recommend summers soccer bar in Arlington. Its one of the best soccer pubs in the country. It was packed last WC and was even crowded during day time Euro 2012 matches.
