Finally made it to New Orleans. Places to park around the French Quarter?

The girlfriend and I are going on one of the haunted tours later. We're supposed to meet up at the Supreme Court building. Where is the best place to park around there and the French Quarter.

Park on Bourbon Street.
Seriously, though. There are several parking lots along the river. Park there. It isn't that expensive and your car is safe and close by. I usually park in that one by Jax and go down behind Cafe du Monde.

this, or the garage at the Omni Hotel-- right across the street from the SCT. There is also a surface lot owned by Central Parking less than a block from there (behind the Omni and to the right) but make sure you pay and don't stay over or they WILL boot you

Park at a hotel and for god's sake don't wear any damn Mardi Gras beads. You tourists need to learn to plan shite better.

Esplanade and rampart. Lovely parking spaces.

Is the younger generation so inept that they cannot even make parking decisions before consulting social media?
I can't imagine a scenario when I would have been out of town with my girlfriend and had to reference a message board before making a decision on parking.

Yes. And park over by the river and just walk and enjoy the lovely scenery of the cathedral, square, restaurants, bars, shops, whores, and hobos.

People would rather talk to people threw technology than face to face. Why ask the scary people of NOLA for directions or just looking around as you drive
My Domino's pizza orders are always correct since using the apps rather than calling.
Same logic here.

Try the Canal Place garage. Reminds me of driving up and down a giant slinky.
