LINK The dem playbook is more predictable than Gary Crowton's LSU offense.

Nancy, if you knew this was a problem, why didn't you do anything about when you controlled the House and Reid controlled the Senate?

Nancy, didn't you and Harry control both houses while George was in office also?

Why does the media not bother to ask such questions?

I'm a firm believer that the only way to fix the VA is to require that every member of Congress has to use it for all of their medical needs for as long as they are in office.

I support your solution.

That would be the best medical care in the world if that were the case.

If there's one redeeming quality when it comes to Bush, it's that he genuinely cares about veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. She's dumb and needs to be called out on her BS.

What other things would be fixed if elected officials had to abide by all the laws that normal citizens have to follow?

This, and the VA needs to get back to it's original purpose - taking care of veterans with war/service-related injuries, and not serve as a government-run healthcare system for all veterans.

Bush's policies def contributed to the situation, but Obama vowed to address and stop the VA issues in 2008... Here we are 6yrs later and they are worse than ever.

But I wouldn't expect any less out of Pelosi, Reid, DWS, etc...

I'm not giving Bush a pass on the situation. Truth be told the VA system has been flawed for years, even well before Bush. But you are correct in stating that Obama campaigned on the issue and things have only gotten worse.

Bush just learned about the VA problems last week in a news broadcast. He's been out of office for years. What can he do about it?

Not even, his administration warned the Inpet one's transition team about problems in the VA, Odrama ran on fixing it, he didn't do a fricking thing about it.

The big shots care little about the vets. The sons of Yale and Harvard start wars and the sons and daughters of LSU and Ole Miss die.
