Old timers: even been to a XXX movie theater?

Best I can tell they died out in the early to mid 90s; killed by the VCR.
For sure they had a few around in 1992 on 42nd Street in NYC and I remember it vividly as a youngen
Anyway, what was it like in there and what were the social "rules?"
Did people eat food?
Go with groups of men or other women?
Were people going to fap in public?
They they stay for 90 or so minutes?
Was it people from all walks of life or just trash?
How did the theater experience differ from more traditional shows?
Did they have ushers? Were they passive or super aggressive to stop people from fapping?
They had their place in time for I guess about 20 years. A piece of Anericana, gone forever.

Sadly, the Regina closed before my time. I used to gaze, with my face pressed against the school bus window, straining to glimpse the latest titillating title on each week's marquee while on my way to middle school.

I took my girlfriend and two of her sorority sisters to one in 1982 near Florida State.
I had a very good time that night.

There was one in Biloxi near one of the Keesler gates on Iberville Drive. GF requested to go, we did and it was a sketchy place. All hard legs there except for her and most of them weren't interested in her at all.
A real Cringe Palace, we walked through and left immediately via the Emergency Exit in the theater.
Analogous (to me) like coffee: if coffee tasted anywhere near as good as it smells, it would be more expensive, illegal and immoral. The concept of an X-rated theater might be titillating in the abstract (and maybe there were passable ones) but that one was not anything good.

There's still one in Tyler TX. There's also a drive thru liquor barn near it, so you can have a nice party at the drive in

How about a XXX drive-in theater out in the country.
There on that old screen, right in front of your car, everything bigger than life.
Much... bigger.

In high school, me and a buddy snuck into the NorthPark. Cinema at the corner of Plank and Airline. (I say snuck loosely b/c the old Chinese guy who ran the plan couldn't have given a rat's arse) Anyway, we are sitting there watching Seka get plowed and we look over and down the same row there is some dude doing himself a big favor. So we move a row or two away and Mr.Killer of one-eyed snakes moves also. Creeped us out so much we jetted.

Went to the Regina a couple of times with a group of us. Seems kind of funny now but definately would not go alone or without a good size group.
There was a XXX drive in behind Juniors bar in Hammond. When people would park out back they would stay in their car and watch a minute or two or three before heading into the club.

I have a recurring dream of my wife and I going double glory hole in an adult theater, side by side with another couple on the other side of the wall.
It's full of win, and fail, all at the same time.

I'm thinking all FAIL and no win.
Errybodies got different things going on.
The Beach Drive-In in Biloxi didn't (I think couldn't ) show X Rated movies but they did show hardddt Rs. That was a pretty good time.

Win - some guys wife blows me
Fail - my wife is blowing her husband

Fail - Putting my Johnson through a Glory Hole. There's no telling what's on the other side.
Fail - Having my wife in any way in that scenario.
Not judging you, that's me. If you are cool with any possibilities there, that's your business. There's just no upside to me of any possible scenarios with a Glory Hole and/or my wife around in there.

From what I've heard, there was an adult drive in theater somewhere north of Port Allen years ago also.
Do they have peep shows or something at that adult store between Laffy and Lake Charles? It's the one on the south side of the interstate.

Americans traditionally love to fight. All real Americans love the sting of battle. When you were kids, you all admired the champion marble shooter, the fastest runner, big league ball players, the toughest boxers. Americans love a winner and will not tolerate a loser. Americans play to win all the time. I wouldn't give a hoot in hell for a man who lost and laughed. That's why Americans have never lost, and will never lose a war... because the very thought of losing is hateful to Americans.
