What's the OB think?

Worth the money or is my white handled Dexter just as good?

I like the Bubba Blade. Haven't talked myself into buying one yet, but my dad bought 4 so he can have one at home, camp, boat and a spare.

I bought the 7" hunting blade last year, I like it, similar quality to outdoor edge.

I have a buddy who is a full time hybrid/crappie/white bass guide and his entire fleet of 4 boats switched over from electric to bubba blades 2 years ago. I have used his a few times and for fresh water I really don't like it as it is not that flexible but for salt water fish it has the stiffness and strength with a good edge to do the job.

I liked it when I used it recently. They produce great vids on cleaning tuna. Lot of guys down in Venice and GI could learn a lot by watching. Never seen so many potentially beautiful tuna steaks butchered by people who didnt have a clue what they were doing

I have the 7" curved. I can't clean perch very well with it. Pretty sure it's user error, as the knife is sharp and seems very well made.

It's nice, but if you are comfortable with your Dexter, do not bother switching.

Dad got me one for Christmas gift...the 9" Tapered Flex...If I had to do it again I would get the 7" Tapered flex since I am a freshwater guy.

But with that said I really like the knife...handle is great blade is sharp, have done quite a few fish with and it still holding a very nice edge. It was a little bit of a learning curve i did f up a few before I got use to how much pressure to apply when filleting.

Headed to Toledo Bend next week for 5 days so I hope to put it thru its paces.

It's not. Almost bought one as the guy at goodwood hardware was selling them pretty hard. Dexters were right next to it. Almost went bubba until I saw that it wasn't made in USA. Went dexter instead.
