Here is the website where you can signup for tailgate information.

Details should be coming soon. It will be big, real big.

If it's not indoors... it'll be hot real hot...........

I'll be downtown at one of the numerous parties them joining the sweaty sheep one hr prior to gametime via light rail

I know what you are talking about.

I would give these guys a shot if you like the details when they come out. The group setting this up is a pretty good group of young LSU Alumni, and they have a good idea of what people want from a tailgate. This isn't an Alumni tailgate setup by a council of 45+ old-timers, not that there is anything wrong with that.

Clearly you didn't go to the one in Dallas.

It will be brutally, brutally hot the last week of August in Houston.

We're staying at a hotel walking distance from the stadium and will pre-game there till about an hour before the game.

This event will most likely be very well air-conditioned.

Same here, though I might go start downtown-hop on rail to midtown-join sweaty sheep one hr prior...via rail.

In any event, downtown/midtown then the rail is likely the best way to go...though I'll consider a mega-tailgate event like this as well.

Edit: For those commenting on the heat, I guess that means you wouldn't be tailgating if this game was in Baton Rouge, where it'll be just as hot that day.

LOL, yeah because all tailgating in Baton Rouge takes place under a city-wide canopy of oak trees.
