Yesterday, 5/18/2014, DJ was in the middle of turning a triple play and also went 3 for 4. I
still believe he was MVP in 2009 CWS. I'm really glad he is doing so good because it must be very difficult to play at this level.

I agree, he should have been. His hit down the leftfield line against Texas was the biggest in the CWS IMHO.

Good to see him doing well.

You both are absolutely correct. Without him we don't win Game 1 vs Texas. Besides his 9th inning, two run double to tie the game, he also hit a home run in his previous at bat to draw us closer, and he led off the 11th with a walk, stole second and moved to third on a throwing error, then scored the winning run on Mahtook's single.

Believing DJ was more deserving of the MVP is not a slap at Jared. Honest opinion, DJ deserved it more.

One of my favorite LSU players all time.

Just solid all around, and consistent

I remember one of the young announcers at Alex Box introducing him with his young Southern Drawl, "Now batting, the al-ways dan-ge-rous, D..J..Le..Ma..Hieu". Crowd went crazy. Kid was right, he was dangerous in CWS!

Yep. Everything he did seemed so smooth and effortless, too. Loved watching him play from day one.
