installing a trolling motor on a tarpon 120

Anyone installed a trolling motor on a tarpon? I have seen the 2x4 method, and think I could make it work by installing it with the rear track system to prevent from drilling into the boat.
Just wondering if anyone else has done it yet and come up with an idea I haven't thought of yet.

Seen one using pvc that slid into rod holders behind seat. SS metal tubing cross members tie it together. 2x6 attached to metal tubing and offset to starboard side. I'll try to find the pictures.
