Seigen to the split going west is bumper to bumper. Not steady rolling, but rolling 50yds and sitting still, rolling 60yds and still. You get the point

Haven't been to BR in 3 weeks, and it still fricking sucks.

Did you expect drastic changes in three weeks?

I would rather drive in NYC than in Baton Rouge rush hour traffic (which is a misnomer, because Baton Rouge traffic sucks at almost all hours).

Since all of the big shopping centers got annexed, I figured they'd have some leftover money to sync at least one light instead of paying for Kip's new SWAT outfit

Stand by. Loop is being built. Target completion date: April 30, 491735, assuming no weather delays.

Just your standard BR traffic. Nothing different from the other 364 days a year.

This should make for a pleasant commute home.

What are you driving to get a shot with this high of a perspective -- a Google Maps car?

ETA: One wonders what the Google self-driving cars would do with Baton Rouge traffic. Self-explode?

Not eastbound coming in...just saw there's a 7 mile backup from Hwy 415.

Why do they call it "rush hour" when nothing is moving?

But it is only the Baton Rouge part. Going through St. George was clean and clear!

I see some big cracks in that pavement. Looks like about time for a massive reconstruction project that will have traffic down to one lane through BR for a couple of years

Yes.

Airline has backups

Perkins has backups

Highland has backups

Jefferson has backups (made worse by a stop light every 5 feet)

Burbank looks clear, but if you need to get back towards the interstate after that, you're still fricked.

If you need to head westbound through any part of BR, you're screwed.
