...and Ryno is bitter about it.

2 series wins in a row? McHugh on the mound tonight. See if the first two starts were flukes or is his last start what we will really see?

Luhnow on Jon Singleton...

quote:

“We have seen the reaction the fans have to bringing up a prospect like [George Springer],” said Luhnow. “I would say Singleton is on deck.” While Singleton, 22, has mashed at Triple-A this year (.293/.401/.629 with 12 home runs in 167 plate appearances), Luhnow did not commit to a timeline. “I think he will play up here this year,” he said. “When, that remains to be seen.”

I don't acknowledge his existence.

Quick question. Now that the Astros are not officially the worst team record wise, why don't the Cubs get as much neg. attention for how bad they are? Don't get me wrong they get neg. attention too but is it because of our 3 year run of 100 losses. We are bad but the Cubs are just as bad with an almost 90 million dollar payroll. Ours is around $45,000. I forgot the Cubs are the lovable losers.

Because we're about 36 losses worse than the Cubs over the last 3+ years. That's pretty terrible.

I can agree with that but they are bad with a 90 million dollar payroll. You'd think they would have more wins that they do with that payroll figure.

Cubs payroll is $73.5 million, 3rd lowest in the league.

LINK

Now, being a Phillies fan would suck - $184 million and you're the 3rd-4th best team in your own division and shitty farm system.
