I am going to miss the Geauxzone I am afraid. I've seen a lot of baseball for 40 bucks. The game last night was great to watch and it cost 5 bucks I sent to Auburn through CBS. A cool night with the burgers going and Chromecast (a great thing this is) on the telly. A do-over is in store tonight! SEC network will have a long way to go to beat the current arrangement for baseball games not on national or regional feed.

I can't imagine they are sinking thos much into SEC network to make it shitty. I expect it will be great quality but crap announcers

I know I'm behind the curve here and will prolly get bashed but don't care. Will the Geaux Zone stop streaming live video effective immediately? Will they only offer audio? My subscription just renewed and I'm thinking about canceling. Bash away.

no bashing necessary brother, im in the same boat, my advice is to wait until SEC tourney is over then cancel (we'll at least get live audio on our mobile devices with GZ app for those games im thinking).....all regional games should be at a minimum on ESPN3, so I'd cancel on Sunday after SEC Tourney champ game is over....that's when im cancelling mine

next time they hit account isn't until June 14th I believe so technically you could wait until then, but im cancelling on May 25th just to be safe and get it done

Knowing ESPN, the sec draft shows and endless Paul Finebaum shows will dominate the spring time programming at the expense of college baseball.
Know way LSU baseball coverage will even come close to what fans currently get. That will be a shame!

Agreed. The only games that wouldn't be available would be road non-conference games. And at that point someone like Jumbo could also pick those up.

Technically, LSU could still broadcast all the games through ESPN

I'm not sure how it's going to work, but I will pay anyone $40 to show me untelevised baseball games on my computer.

There was an article a few days ago where an SEC rep said all SEC venues will be wired to have the ability to view online. An SEC guy tweeted last night that 2 of the 3 LSU/Auburn games would've been on tv, and all would've been available online live. The SEC network will be a good thing in the long run. We'll have more access than ever before and the ability to watch on tv, phone and tablet.

LSU is spending 2 million or so to upgrade their broadcast capabilities. Sure, they will provide the equipment and uploads to ESPN. Every game COULD have a feed if ESPN allows it. It is my stance we should be able to get anything up there even if ala carte. After all, who put the satellites up there?
