WaPo

TEPACA DE BADIRAGUATO, MEXICO — The surge of cheap heroin spreading in $4 hits across rural America can be traced back to the remote valleys of the northern Sierra Madre.

thanks for the blind link. not clicking that

For what it's worth, it's just a link to the Washington Post.

I'm not sure logistically how you would "legalize" heroin distribution.

As I've stated many timees, once a cartel loses money in one drug it'll be forced to try to make up the lost revenue in other drugs that are still illegal. This could worse the drug situation no improve it. Full legalization is ideal, imo.

At this point, I'm afraid that state distribution would be the only model accepted. Sort of like ABC stores, I would think.

Because in way too many cases, drugs destroy human potential, ambition, lives, entire families, and typically harms innocent children with deadbeat user parents.

JMO, of course.

And so does obesity when fat fricks let there little fat frick kids stuff their faces, but you dont see anyone going around confiscating fat kids do you? Everything youve stated is true, but it's irrelevant. As an adult, anyone should be allowed to do whatever in the hell they want to their own body.

JMO, of course.

And, I can agree with you ... so long as those people don't ask for help (i.e. $) due to their own decisions.

So long as those people DON'T have children.

So long as those people don't resort to stealing anything and everything.

So long as those people don't ask for free shite when they can't get a job because they are lazy, worthless, and can't pass a drug test.

I'd be perfectly fine with the genuinely responsibly adults who want to smoke a joint in their backyards on the weekends (not my cup of tea, but whatever) after the kids are asleep.

But ... there are way too many of the other people that use drugs...meth, heroin, pills of all sorts, heavy weed usage, etc.

We don't need any more societal dregs.

And enough with this damn thievery. Stop stealing shite worth thousands to go pawn for $30.

So why add more toxic and harmful elements to society? This benefits who? Who exactly is going to pay the cost for addiction, lost jobs and productivity?

Since anybody should be allowed to do whatever they want with their bodies, does that mean it's OK for a 6 year old to be a prostitute? Their body, right?

Exactly the point. The level of individual responsibiltiy will ALWAYS decrease in society as the level of permissivness increases.

At least that's been the case in this country the last 40 years.

Does anybody expect anything different if hard drugs are legalized?

What does that tell you?

The war on drugs needs to end and full legalization of drugs needs to happen.
