I'm so tired of the trash in power. They're nothing but filth and scum.

quote:

Attorney General Eric Holder said Tuesday that the Department of Justice doesn't have any plans to investigate allegations that veterans placed on secret waiting lists at VA hospitals died while waiting for care.

quote:

"Well, obviously these reports if they're true are unacceptable, and the allegations are being taken very seriously by the administration. But I don't have any announcements at this time with regard to anything that the Justice Department is doing," Holder told reporters at a press conference.

"This is something on our radar screen at this point, but there is an investigation being done by the [VA] inspector general, and we'll see what happens as a result of that inquiry and other information that comes to light in some form or fashion," Holder added.

Nothing to see here.

I agree, pure filth in office. But then again, Dems don't want an investigation b/c their party is on the line. Rep's are huge p*ssies. One day the voting populace will wisen up and hold these clowns accountable. One day.

Your title should be DOJ ISN'T investigating...

It sounds like they are in wait and see mode. I would be surprised if there isn't an investigation eventually. This quote does not preclude that.

I am constantly amazed that (supposed) thinking human beings could actually believe that government/power exists for their benefit.
It really is astounding.

Just like every other illegal scandal under this administration. Politics above all else. Read the article. There is no excuse for the DOJ to not be investigating this, as it crosses state lines.

Most open and transparent administration EVAH!

Waiting for Little Rexy, Spidey and Decatur to show up and tell us why secret waiting lists are a good thing.

What would lead you to believe that this administration would be any different than the previous ones?

I agree (because you don't want multiple investigations getting in each others' ways) but considering the severity I wouldn't mind the DOJ at least offering to take over the investigation.

But apparently not unacceptable enough or serious enough to be looked into.

I'm guessing that not too many of the 40 were minorities.

Call it a hunch.

The predictible "Bush did it too" defense. How long before the race, Limbaugh, Fox news and Palin cards are in play?

Because they told us repeatedly that it would be.

They were all part of the least talked about minority in this country, the veterans.

If anyone supports single payer just take a look at the VA system and tell me that is the BEST option for healthcare.

And ... if white ... then basically expendable ... to this President, Attorney General, and pretty much all liberals.

I thought the left was supposed to be the ones obsessed with race?

It's not too often you see the "white" race-card played.

And yet you do not dispute what I asserted.

But, you can bet your arse ... if 20%+ of those vets had been black or hispanic ... DOJ would be all over this shite, as would the media.
