Kirsten Gillibrand And Rand Paul, The Senate's Odd Couple, Team Up Again

Paul obviously doesn't mind working with high-profile Democrats, and while it may shore his bipartisan bona fides, I wonder how this will play in the primaries.

In today's bitterly divided U.S. Senate, there are at least two lawmakers on opposite ends of the ideological spectrum who have found a way to work together.
With little public fanfare this week, Sens. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) and Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) teamed up for the third time in a year on a legislative item.
Paul became a cosponsor of Gillibrand's bill to amend the federal tax code to give financial assistance to parents purchasing child care services.

Paul advocates for and practices a different kind of bi-partisanship than the average politician. Instead of meeting in the middle so no one is happy, he chooses items that both sides can agree on.

Love this type of thing. Rand is a contemplative guy, if it makes sense and doesn't run up against his conservative tenets, he's game.

Without reading the entire bill to discover the all too familiar hidden gems of deceit, this seems like a no brainer to attach your name too.

Some of the comments to that article are typical of the left, though.

Very nice looking woman.

I wonder if it is possible for any female human to be mentioned in a TD thread without immediate commentary on her appearance or whether or not she could get dick from each poster.
I would have thought maybe on the PT, but guess not.
