Ian Desmond - Time to drop?

I keep waiting for him to do something this season, but in the last 15 he is only hitting .167. I can drop him and pick up Peralta, good move?

No. If you can pick up Peralta and bench Desmond, that's fine. But I wouldn't give up on Desmond.

He's in a slump.
bench the slump, do not drop the slump.
Desmond is a top 40-50 fantasy player for a reason. He'll turn it around. I understand your frustration though.

I went from 1st to 7th in two weeks because my whole team went in a slump

is Solarte available in your league? he has been steady and might be heating up even more.
if you're looking for another option for some offense besides the SS position, give Cron or Olt a test drive. they seem to be heating up. they won't steal you any bases though like Desmond should be doing for you.

He only has 2 on the year. Doesnt get on base enough

Yeah I know. That's my point, one of the big stats you're missing from his slump is stolen bases. So if you're gonna replace him for now then you should try to do it with someone who is gonna get you some steals.
