I almost started this thread last week, forgot about it. Phil went on a really nice run in april, great mix of friends.

Yeah, the best part of Phil and Friends is the rotating cast. It never gets stale.

Agreed.

Their last few shows with Marco and medeski have been great. I do wish they would drop Jackie Greene. Constantly the weakest link.

Really enjoyed the stuff he did with DSO. Threw me off when Furthur picked him up. Thought it was a little much.

That being said I think he is a good fit with Phil and Friends.

Ill take jackie over fake jerry any day of the week.

The best combo phil is playing with right now imo is russo, medeski, sco and warren.

Jackie Green isn't even in the same league as Kadlecik, IMO. He's talented but it's not even close.

You're right, jackie makes his own music while fake jerry rips off a dead guy. Ill take jackie all day long.
