If Ricardo Quaresma makes the squad and scores against us, I'm going to jump out of my window

It is simply baffling that Portugal haven't produced a better striker than Postiga yet.

Either that, or he'll score some stupid goal with the outside of his right

Of course, we just described every Quaresma goal or assist

No doubt. When he first hit the scene with Porto way back when, I was like damn this kid is a baller. Then I realized he went for the flashy play every time.

Maybe so, but like you, I don't recognize a lot of those names from 2002 either.

That team didn't have Cristiano Ronaldo, though. Figo was great, but he's not CR7.

I just started following international soccer around 1998 (I was 10 or 11) and didn't care about club until a few years ago, but I recognize a lot of names from the 2002 Portugal squad. Although it may be because I've watched the game quite a few times. I recognize Costa, Sousa, Figo, Joao Pinto, Rui Costa, Barbosa, Paulo Bento, and Beto.

I actually recognize more names from the 2002 squad than than the current roster.
