Brcc has the program and Louisiana technical college river parish campus in reserve has it as well, That's where I received mine from.

Take your pick: RPCC in Sorrento, BRCC in BR, ITI in BR, SCL in Reserve, Nunez in NOLA (there's probably a couple more I failed to mention).. A PTEC degree from any institution is equal to the next to a hiring plant. Good luck as the PTEC degree is very valuable in getting on within Ops in a plant.

Yep. And I don't know about other schools but the LTC in reserve posts ptech job opening all the time to its students. I had a job in a ptech field before I graduated.

Yep. I don't recommend ITI due to the cost. It's actually absurd how much they charge. Once again, plants don't give a shite where your degree is from.

ME degree >>>>>> Ptech
stay in school and it will be worth it in 5 years

Use one of the technical, colleges. Same exact degree as any of the others.
ITI tries to brag about placing their students, but that isn't the case. No better than one you pay 1/10th of the price for.
Also, RPCC/BRCC transfer credits if you every decide to go further.

I've heard the BRCC program is good and inexpensive

I'm currently half way through my Ptech program at SCLTC in Reserve. My tuition for 12 hours for fall or spring was about $1500, that's lecture and online classes mixed. My summer tuition for 10 hours coming up is $1300 (4 classes- 3 of which are online). The whole program is 68 hours.....so you may finish quickly if you have transfer credits.

that cost is supplemented with lifetime job staffing and ability to take refresher courses at any time.
