NFL network opinion that Saints want Aaron Murray

They were talking about QB's left and it was said to be believed the Saints are very interested in QB Aaron Murray.

I just heard that. I'd rather a center or a inside linebacker, or outside linebacker/someone who can cover. But seeing as how there really aren't any standout blue chip prospects left at those positions I really don't know what to do. I guess go for a diamond in the rough type BPA at a smaller school.

Unless the Saints are really sold on Ryan Griffin, I could see that happening, if they were to take Aaron Murray, for him to learn under Drew Brees and maybe one day be the starter when Drew leaves. I mean, right now Luke McCown is the backup QB, if, God forbid, Drew were to go down with an injury, would McCown be able to keep the offense going?

Look what the patriots have done. Matt Cassel and Ryan Mallett. Cassel actually had to play and did well. Keep these guys in your back pocket, trade them in a few years if your starter is still solid.

I would be happy with Murray in the 5th now that Center is pretty much out of the question.

I guess you didn't watch a lick of UGA ball this year. Murray has more leadership in his man purse than AJ ever will. That kid is awesome.
