I want to go run him today but need a large open area and preferably with water..
The Burbank Soccer Fields come to mind.

Would I be allowed to train like this out there? Minus the gun.
(I apologize in advance for holding my phone the wrong way)

Thanks! He's not bad for a $100 mutt.

Burbank soccer complex has a dog only training area.

It is supposed to be no fishing but my dog got hung in fishing line there.

I contacted the BREC peoples but got no reply.

Oh he's not a field trial dog

Pure meat dog

But he is whistle and hand trained and can make blind retrieves out to about 250 yds.

Yes you can absolutely do that out there. The whole back and SE sides are wide open. You could probably use a cap gun that shoots blanks like at track meets without a problem too.

I've used a dummy launcher that uses the .22 blanks dozens of times at the Burbank dog training park. I've never had any issues.

I see some fun times in your future hunts. When I had a dog, the thing I enjoyed the most was the dog/watching him work.
