All four were booked into the Beauregard Parish Sheriff's Office Jail on charges of felony criminal damage and conspiracy to commit criminal damage. Bonds have not yet been set in the case.
Upon further investigation, authorities discovered that these suspects may be part of a multi-state theft operation. Authorities say the persons involved in the operation would shoplift items from stores in Texas and Louisiana, then use old, discarded receipts to obtain cash.
