How far down could Jacksonville have traded to get Bortles?

Seems like he would have been around to at least number 22, where the Browns took Manziel?

Based on what? Based on McShay having Manziel rated higher? Maybe everyone had Bortles rated higher.

Were they afraid of Tampa Bay at number 7?

If they wanted a Florida guy to get people to watch, why not go for Tebow?

There were quite a few teams needing QBs. Who knows what other teams would have done. And you're not going to get honest answers from the teams after the fact.

Even if Bortles were gone they could have gotten Bridgewater... a comparable talent. I don't get it.

I like Bortles. If they do too, no sence in gambling. And there was zero chance he was falling past 15. Somebody was moving up to grab him, likely in the top 10.
