I want to do something special this year because she's been really strong during a tough time for our family the last few months. So I dont want to just get her a card. But I cant spend more than $20-25 right now. Any suggestions?

Pro Flowers, Flowers.com.

All women love flowers, especially mothers. Send some and you're gold.

rose bush or tree - something that won't die in a few months
My wife bought me a live oak for my first Father's Day.
I see it every time I pull out of the driveway.
It's cool to see how much it and the kids have grown.

Flowers, framed picture, poem, nicely worded and touching letter all work alone or together.

Get a friend who is a competent photographer to take a picture of you and your mom, put it in a nice inexpensive frame.

She'll love it.

A plant as suggested would be nice. But, above is all she really wants. And some of your time. She just wants to hang out with you.

Spend time with her. Money can't buy that and nothing is more special to her.

Write a letter just thanking her for everything, and tell her you love her. 10.00 but priceless to her

Picture of you and her in a nice frame.

Also can make a card at walgreens/cvs online for mother's day with pictures of you and her. Usually costs about $1.50 and can pickup same day. She'll love it.
