My dad got bit by a baby water mocassin when I was a kid. Spent some time in the hospital after driving himself there because my mom was too freaked out to drive.

frick no, thank God! We also had rattlesnakes in our yard and even garage when I was a kid which I think is why I am more scared of snakes than anything else in this world.

No, but I came very close to stepping on a coral snake when I was about 5 or 6 years old. Thankfully my older brother saw it right before I put my foot down.

My mom was bitten by a copperhead and said it was the worst pain she had ever experienced. As she described it, "like I was holding my arm over an open fire for hours straight."
