Most vital laws?

I figured this might be an interesting thought experiment...
Hypothetically, let's say you started a new nation/state/province/whatever and you could only choose 3 laws to promote the most order and prosperity, what would they be?
For me:
(Obviously, these are described in simpler terms than they would actually be written as law)
1. You cannot cause intentional harm to another individual without their consent.
2. You cannot steal the property of another individual.
3. You cannot profit from another person's invention design or intellectual property without their permission.

This isn't vital and very vague to enforce.

Do you know what the legal term 'bright line' means?

My first law would be to make a law that would allow us to make more laws.
Like with genie wishes.
But the serious one would be to protect:
1) Life
2) Liberty
3) Pursuit of Happiness

I was basically trying to say copyright/patent laws, which I think are extremely vital.
