That really is a good projection for LSU. If we can't host I want to be matched up with ULL.

Irvine has some great arms. That would be a very low scoring and tough regional. Honestly I'd rather not see them come to town.

Morales vs Nola in the driver's seat game would be one for the ages, a la, Nola/Gray.

Always scary to see west coast (arm) teams and small ball protectionists like Irvine & UCLA last season...

yeah, i don't see any way we don't get paired with ULL. Which is fine with me. it's close and i have family who are ull alum. would be fun.

That would be a bitch of a regional for ULL.

Houston and Kentucky.

The only problem is the Tigue.....I guess people don't remember the struggle to get tickets to a midweek game there last year. It would be a mess...I doubt LSU would get 800 tickets.

ETA I will be tailgating for sure though.

I see he has Vandy traveling as a 1 seed. That's BS but definitely something the committee would do.

Actually one of the teams I dont want to see is Irvine they are peaking late and have some good arms and a bunch of just solid players.

CBD's projections have us getting Irvine as well.

I'd take that regional and super regional matchup all day.

From this weeks chat:

I still like LSU as my fourth SEC host with Florida, South Carolina and Ole Miss as the others. I also think Vanderbilt and Alabama are heavily in the mix. Vandy still has South Carolina, and that could go a long way into determining who gets a host site in the league. That's still a wide open race outside of Ole Miss and Florida at this point, who both look to be in very good shape ... Don't see an SEC team traveling as a No. 1.

Question was:

Do you think we'll see a traveling 1 seed from the SEC this year? Please not VU to Liberty

How about ULL losing their regional?

Would we host Supers if that was the case?

Absolutely....no way Houston or Kentucky would host over LSU.

It'd have to be Houston, Kentucky is playing some horrible baseball of late.

I think the best reason to be matches with ULL is they have a damn good chance of losing their regional, which would bring the super host to us
