I just saw a commercial for agenda21 called I have lived a good life. Which is elderly people saying they have lived a good life and are ready to die to make room for children.

Has anyone else seen this commercial? Why have I never heard of agenda21? If this is even remotely true why aren't people outraged?

Is this it?

I had to google it and it's a pretty creepy ad. Says the earth can't sustain all of the people and something has to give. There's a lot of things I can say about this and not one of them involves me committing suicide. Maybe there are people that really do believe in death panels for the elderly.

I have heard that there is one group out there that thinks the sustainable population is 500 million!

If we can get the Clintons, Harry Reid and others to go first... It might catch on.

Because Ezekiel Emanuel, one of Obamacare's architects and lover of UK's mess of a healthcare system, has a "(D)" after his name. "(D)" for the MSM stands for (D)on't report bad stuff.

Non-binding U.N. Resolutions are the worst, guys!! Sustainability is a code word for gun-confiscation, federal government control of schools, etc. (crazies have tried to tie this to every boogeyman they can)!!

If you want to learn about Agenda 21, start with Wikipedia, then read the text of the actual document. Make your own opinions, then read what people have been saying about it.

I've only seen 3 posts by you so far, but already I'm confident you don't do much of this.

Anxious to see more boozie style pretentiousness up in here!

Do you disagree that the OP represents a tenet of A21?

Firstly, considering that video was posted by Glenn Beck, I'm calling bull shite. In fact, I'm calling BULL shite in all caps.

Nowhere, NOWHERE, in Agenda 21 does it say that old people need to just die so the young people can take over.

Here's an example of what Agenda 21 actually says:

6.18. In addition to meeting basic health needs, specific emphasis has to be given to protecting and
educating vulnerable groups, particularly infants, youth, women, indigenous people and the very poor
as a prerequisite for sustainable development. Special attention should also be paid to the health needs
of the elderly and disabled population
.

Here is the link to the actual document.

LINK

I dare you to find something in there that says old people need to die.

Earth's population = 6,973,738,433

Louisiana = 52,271 square miles = 1,457,231,846,000 square feet

Every human being on Earth could fit inside an area the size of Louisiana comfortably if evenly spaced, with each person occupying 209 square feet.

Stated differently, every man, woman and child on Earth could occupy an area approximately 14.5ft x 14.5ft without overlap and fit inside Louisiana and leave the rest of the world completely uninhabited.

We are so far from reaching this planet's carrying capacity it isn't funny.

Welcome

Thank you for the welcome!

I am always trying to learn new things, make fact-based assessments. One of the curses of being an engineer, I'm afraid.

Though, I will assure that my opinions are my own, considering I'm in the Fox Mulder (from the X-Files) camp when it comes to political pundits, "Trust Noone".

Trust the engineers and scientists to find new and innovative ways to feed/house earth's population.

Will life be exactly like it is now for eternity? No. Will Earth one day meet that breaking point where it can't sustain any additional human life? Maybe. But starvation, disease, and such should balance out the population.

That's freaky.

So, from what I take from it, the message is "I have lived a good life" (insinuation) so that justifies me being put down?

WTF is this?

It's so vague and complex, and in my opinion, when something is so difficult to decipher and get to the bottom of it, it usually spells either two things. Either it's feel good fluff, or it's intentions really are very devious and/or not palatable for the general public, and so the agenda is hidden so as to not be condemned or until it can be painted with pretty colors and gradually sold to the same general public and accepted over time.

thats par, the truly ignorant among us think that they are somehow enlightened beyond us. Its always arrogance disguised as compassion from that group. They want to feed the starving soylent green, and tell us its all good.
