Did I miss the thread on Lebrons quote about why he didn't win MVP

His team had too many up and down stretches and if his team doesn't win, he doesn't deserve MVP, according to him.
Why then, 5 MVP and only two rings?
Lebron just can't admit that Durant outclassed him. Lebron isn't better than MJ now, and never will be. He is a whiner and mentally weak. At the end of the day, lebron stats probably > Kobe, but at least Kobe has some competitive drive in him.

He didn't say that.
He was interviewed during or after a practice and they asked him his thoughts on KD winning. He said he was a great player who had a great season and those 25 and 30 runs he had really helped him. A reporter then asked did he think KD should've won it over him. LeBron said "I just said he was a great player and earned it, why go there?"
