OTPSA- Watch your speed.
And, sometimes you just wanna go fast.

Highway patrol aircraft follows motorcyclist home after going 120 mph

quote:

When you’re pulling stunt like this, you never know when we’re gonna be overhead,” the officer told KPIX 5.

The plane followed him for several miles to his home in San Leandro.

At 2,000 feet and a mile away, that airplane is a speck in the sky. But with their high-tech cameras, they can see fine detail, down to the color of your shoes.

“They called me out and asked me if they knew why they were there. And then I said ‘No’ and then they pointed to the plane. And then I knew,” McDonah said.

quote:

As for McDonah,he was still smug, and somewhat apologetic.

KPIX 5: Are you sorry?

McDonah: Yeah.
KPIX 5: What lessons did you learn?

McDonah: That Big Brother is always watching. I don’t know.

Would have been much funnier if he wrecked going that fast and caught on camera.

It just depends on where you are. I've been that fast numerous times, and would probably do it again. Hwy 395 in southern Oregon is about as desolate as they come. I probably averaged close to a hundred mph from Goose lake to almost Burns. You can roll on pretty good going across a lot of the southwest as well.

Damn, that's a pretty stiff punishment he got for that. That's bullshite they can make you sell your bike if you don't take a safety class, I completely understand revoking his license, but forcing you to sell property is a bit too much overreach by the government.

I love it when bikers get tickets. Most of them are arrogant assohles anyway.

Motorcyclists for the most part are some of the friendliest people that use roads.

Middle-aged and older CPAs, Actuarials and Merchant Bankers who want to prove that they are rugged individuals, independent free-spirits by dressing up alike and buying a machine they have no business using.

CAN they do this? Sure. SHOULD they? Well-

Natural Selection will not be cheated.

Luckily for society, they usually only punish themselves.

I didn't get this from the article. I think he would loose his motorcycle endorsement if he doesn't take the class. Do gooders would then say without the mc endorsement he had no need for the bike.
