Fluorescent light issue question

so I have two pair of long bulbs...only one set works at a time. The hell is causing that? the side thats not working is barely blinking...the bulbs all work just both pair wont work at the same time...thanks in advance.

sounds to me like one of the bulbs is bad...how do you know they all work?...

I would think that the starter would affect all bulbs equally...that is why I suspect either an individual bulb or one of the sets of connectors...

It would almost have to be the old T12. The new ballasts and bulbs don't nearly have this type problem.

It's probably the "balancer"...a term that many of the Orleans Parish variety prefer to call a ballast, even after being corrected

If you swapped out new lamps and the same 2 don't work it's the ballast. Trace the wires to the lamp socket and replace the ballast that feeds them. T12 I would assume.

I'm lost, what does that mean? Usually the 2 inside and the 2 outside are on separate ballasts. If you have 2 ballasts, then trace the wires out and they will tell you which sockets are controlled by which ballast.

Could they be wired wrong? All I know is they're working
