He went from absolutely dominant to crap in a really short amount of time. I'd still put him in the HOF.

Nah I dont dig ditches for a living

And Halladay didn't "suck" later in his career. He was bad in 13 starts in 2013, but was still very respectable in 2012 and dominant in 2011...

It was only two bad years, granted one of them was really terrible.

I would say yes, but this guy couldn't even get 4% of the vote and was taken off the ballot in year 1.

194-112
3.51
2293K

4X all-star
Roy
CY Young
2x Strikeout Leader
Pitched a no hitter

No he wasn't, but looking at the two Docs their career numbers really aren't that different when compared to one guy getting 3% HOF vote and the other guy getting 75%+.

But he was great IMO. Winning 2 Cy youngs (one in each league) and pitching a no-hitter in his first playoff start is greatness IMO

He was better than "very good"

He was the best pitcher in baseball for multiple years IMO

He was arguably the best pitcher in the league for about 5 years. A good chunk of that time playing against over financed saux/Yankees. I say he's in.
