Searched and didnt see a story on it...so SIAP again

Didnt even know gators had a range that far up the Atlantic coast...pretty amazing. Any gator experts take a guess on how long that sucker is?

I think an expert on roads might have better odds on estimating that.

I guess it may have beent he camera/focus...but that snout sure looked skinny/narrow.....more like a crock

We have pretty much the exact climate as the gulf coast. How far north do you think SC is?

head to tail, 14-16 feet considering the traffic lane is about that wide

Used to Turkey hunt in S Carolina, swamps and piney woods in Hardyville, SC. Although not as many as Vermilion Parish, they still had a bunch and some were big like Godzilla.

I agree, looks like a croc... nose is too narrow to be a gator. Could be the film though

im not gator expert, but I have grown up in deep south west La my entire life, & I agree w/GeeOH, that sure is a skinny gator.. usually the bigger they are, the thicker and bigger around they are...

Typical lane width is 11-12 ft
