I guess management was pissed about his alleged support of the players walking off the court in protest. 
ETA: They must REALLY hate him though...it's not like he's sucking it up there. He'll get another job in no time.

I'd withhold such statements until we find out WTF was going on out there.
Losing three top assistants to firing, demotion, or leaving to coach another team within a year is kind of fishy and I doubt it is 100% on management.
I'm finding it far easier to believe that Jackson was fighting shadows, claiming that guys like Brian Scalabrine were undermining him, than it really happening.

We don't know how bad he was behind the scenes. Clearly it was bad enough to warrant his firing.

true. i never try and just jump to a side but he always seemed solid from the fan perspective
