There's a big metal festival in Ohama next month that sold out, and there are some tickets available on Craigslist.

Living in Denver, I can't do an in person exchange, so what would be the best way to handle this? I am skeptical of the print at home tickets, but it seems like 80-90% of people have these types of tickets now.

Would a PayPal payment be the safest bet?

paypal will not protect you if you just send this guy money and it ends up being a scam.

Do a wire transfer at a Western Union.

Just kidding, don't do that.

I'm looking at losing $50 at the end of the day which is chump change, but I don't want to deal with dickshits that get my blood pressure boiling.

StubHub is asking $198 for a $25 ticket.

You are also guaranteed your ticket, and protected otherwise.

You pay for the peace of mind.

If it seems like it's too good to be true, it usually is.

Tread carefully.

Got scammed super hard over LSU-Alabama tickets in 2011. Funny thing is the guy got caught by someone else and went to jail for it. I eventually got my money back from the state.

But yea I wouldn't do anything unless you met face to face. I'd at least act like you can meet face to face and see if this guy can. If he says he can't it might be suspicious
