Which injured closer would you rather have for the rest of the season?

Grilli

Janssen will never get his role back unless Santos is hurt. Santos has always been the guy TOR wanted to close.

Would you rather have Grilli or let's say Jim Johnson who's part of a committee at the moment?

Jim Johnson. Like Santos in Tor, JJ is the dude they want to close. He'll slide back into the full time gig soon.

Personally I see Melancon running away with the job in Pitt.

Johnson

He will get his job back, they are paying him 9-10 million this year.

I didnt realize Santos has been so shitty. So Janssen may take that job back when he returns. But Grilli is the better pitcher IMO.

AS for Jim Johnosn, I could see Oakland going CBC the rest of the year. They are unconventional.

Supposedly, a couple of weeks. That said, those oblique strains can be very tricky and he could easily be out for over a month.
