What to do with 3k

Got a 3k check from insurance company for roof replacement. Didn't think I'd have to use my home owners so jacked up my deductible. Well I don't have the 4k to drop on a deductible right now so where should I put the 3k until I get the money? I have 2 years to use the check.

Put it in your glove box. 
Seriously, it just doesn't seem like enough of a reward to not just put it in a money market or savings account since you will need it in two years.
