AC Milán, long time.

Inter has a habit of missing every now and then.

Too lazy to check the Serie A table. Is it Juventus, Roma and Napoli in the top 3?

He means when was the last time neither Milano team was in the CL in the same year, I think.

Following the 2000-2001 season (where they finished behind Roma, Juve, Lazio and Parma) was the last time both missed the CL in the same year.

It will be interesting to see how soon they can recover. Juve, Roma, Napoli and Fiorentina all have already strong and improving sides above them and there's only those 3 CL spots for so many good teams.

AC is weird. they have talent, but sucked their own dicks this year. i don't know if seedorf is the answer, either

they haven't been the same since letting pirlo go

inter has been shedding salary ever since they won the CL, so their "fall" isn't really that shocking

They are a strange team right now.

Under Seedorf, they've looked better at times and have often look really good for stretches of matches the past couple of months. However, they completely fall apart (both tactically and emotionally) at the drop of a hat. I like Seedorf but kind of doubt he's really the answer.

Yeah, of the two Inter may be poised to make a quicker return to the CL than AC Milan with their new owner and more money to spend unless Berlusconi ultimately sells AC Milan.

Yes, I know. I´m just saying that AC historically shows up a lot more than do Inter.
