What's the best divebar/restaurant in South Beach Miami

Need some suggestions to hang out preferably beach front. Waiting on some buddies of mine to get into town tonight and have some time to kill. Looking to have a few drinks and get a bite to eat. Bar food is fine. I dont care.

Go to mizner park. Not sure if Marks is still there, but whatever the restaurants are there will be about the best in Boca and top notch. Used to live there and ate at mizner a good bit.

Ninja sushi and bluefin are pretty good.
Rebel house is close to ninja if you don't feel like sushi. If you're by the beach whales rib is just over the boca border in Deerfield. V n S is a great sub spot too, they're open tomorrow until 2.

Is that flannigans still there on the curve across from the beach in Deerfield? Not recommended, but just wondering if it is still there.
Also is the whale rib thing you mentioned the restaurant on the beach now across from the flanigans before the curve in Deerfield?

Forgot about that. I lived off Camino on Spanish river for about two years a while back. Now I'm further south and havrnt made it over to Boca in a few years.

Haha yeah flannigans is still there. Last I heard whales rib was still next door to flannigans but I don't know if they moved it across the street after all that construction on the pier

Flannigans and whale rib both still there. They've opened a few new things around there in last few years with all the development. I prefer rattlesnake jakes over anything else right there. Mizner park is a good rec. Better to drive a few miles north to delray though. Plenty going on on atlantic avenue.
