Both are on Netflix and both are two of the most popular movies I haven't seen. If you have seen both, please tell me which you would see first. I love all other Polansky (even 9th gate) and Kubrick's stuff (even Eye's Wide Shut). I definitely give Kubrick the nod as a superior film maker, but I have heard Chinatown is Polanski's best. Please help, I would like to start a movie before 9:30.

Both are legit, but Chinatown for sure.

Thanks for the quick replies. Chinatown is now playing. I felt embarrassed even asking this question on two historical films.
