Gave the Fitbit Flex to several people for Christmas, they all like it.

I'd stay away from Nike Fuel Band considering they essentially fired their entire Nike Fuel team and publicly stated they're abandoning the hardware part.

I've looked at the fit bit before but haven't pulled the trigger, would also be interested in people's opinions that have them.

Jawbone up is a touch more accurate than fitbit - but a lot more expensive.

The jawbone works well though. Lost 20 pounds with it.

I got the fitbit force a while back. Its just like the flex except you can see your stats on the band itself. It actually does motivate me to be more active

Interesting, what makes you say/how do you know the jawbone is more accurate than the fit bit?

You may want to consider the Garmin Vivofit. Battery lasts a year, synchs automatically with an iPhone 5, and has a LED display.

Just remember reviewing comparisons/studies before I bought the jawbone. It was at the time of my purchase the most accurate wrist activity monitor for step counting.

It syncs into to myfitnesspal nicely and is fairly accurate (as much as can be expected) on measuring caloric burn. So yeah...it helped me lose weight.

had the fitbit force but was allergic to it. Have the flex and love it.

Opinion. Fitbit worn by fat people. Like diet drinks, will not make you skinny. For $50 I will count your steps.

Is the vivofit better than the fitbit flex? I have the flex but I've been having issues with it syncing and I'm beginning to consider returning it for the jawbone. Have not heard of the vivofit so willing to look into it.

Have an UP band. Used it religiously for a few months, not so much lately.
