anyone watch the game? I believe this is their second time to lose to them this year. I realize that transitive property doesn't work in any sport but do you guys think bama is an elite team this year or did they just have easy sec teams to start the season?

Their schedule was favorable but they're still pretty good.

Not tested as of yet in SEC.They still got that Bham schedule magic. They lose at least 2 of 3 this weekend.

Watched their 3 game series with ULL. Besides their Friday night guy, I was thoroughly unimpressed with their lineup. Sure it was early but they went scoreless til Sunday. I'll take Nola over anyone in the country
so bring it bitches

Spencer Turnbull v. Aaron Nola will be a great matchup

I think they are a good team but we will see how good in the next few weeks. I can see them hosting especially with Vandy's slide.

Mikey White and Kyle Overstreet are solid and this team kind of reminds me of the 2010 team that won the Atlanta regional before losing to Clemson in a Super. They are experienced in key positions and have some young talent.

Little bit of both. We have had by far the easiest schedule of any team in the west, but our pitching has been great all year. Our issue is stranding runners on base. Also recently it seems our bullpen is getting a little too much work. Gave up a lead against UT on sunday and didn't look sharp against USM

We're not a top 8 team in the country, and we aren't going to win the SEC, but we're still a very solid club that should host a regional. Yea we haven't played the meat of our SEC schedule yet, but we have swept Ole Miss and won 2 of 3 against Kentucky.

Not a bad comparison at all. This year's squad has a very deep pitching staff like that one did as well, although this year's version has hit some bumps lately.
