Reggio yesterday, but I'm sure it's much the same. Reports are reds are pretty thick in the marsh, trout are scattered and hard to find. Typical transition time.

I've never fished inside in hopedale. Only outside for trout. Any good areas for reds? Wind doesn't look like I can make it outside.

A few trout and reds along the rocks. Some trout at the mouth of stump lagoon. Trout are hit and miss right now.

I don't know but, I've had to weave through a virtual sea of yaks down there. Maybe it was an OB event.

It's one of the closer spots to me for reds in the yak, probably will be my next trip in a couple weeks

hopedale lagoon is good in the winter for small trout.

lena? That's shell beach, not Hopedale.

I've fished in a pirogue in Hopedale before.

I'm thinking of heading to the Rocks at Shell Beach this weekend. Thoughts?

I usually pedal/paddle to lena lagoon from BSM. Not sure if that's the correct 'name' or what have you

Only times I've paddle fished out there was either Hopedale lagoon via hopedale canal or that old fishing camp at lake borgne after launching by Campo's
