I hate reading too much into polls, because we all know what happened the last time that shite happened.
But, this is a positive sign.

Once again, this election will come down to turning out the vote. Whoever motivates their base on the importance of this vote is going to win it.
Also, something very unique could happen. Given LA primary system, it is a real possibility we wake up the morning after the election, we have 49 Democrat Senators, 50 Republican Senators....the worlds eyes could very well be on Louisiana to decide whether Rs regain control, or Joe Biden is deciding vote in any matter.

If Mr. Pryor and Ms. Landrieu also have the worst performances of their career, they’ll probably lose re-election: Neither has won more than 53 percent of the vote in a contested race.

I will be casting my vote against her.
Despite what anyone says, every vote counts.
Complacency loses election, we need to keep the boot to her throat.

From what I can tell, her ground game is already behind, if existent at all.

Even so, this is all well and good but what's the status of Bill Cassidy right now? Where's his campaign at in terms of ground game and funding? Are they coming up with good rebuttals to the complete fraud show of commercials bloody Mary is putting out?

It all depends on the deceased vote turnout.

They seem to have a small field staff, and I'm not really sure what they are doing with it.
Bill Cassidy has a growing field staff, but Landrieu is kicking his arse in terms of fundraising, as incumbents usually do.
I've talked to some people, and the RNC is placing resources in LA to defeat Landrieu. The ground game is there, and physical office locations exist.
