So on a rig of that size how do overnight or week long excursions go.

Do you have your own capt? Isn't there a size requirement for having a captain and crew aboard?

Does someone have to be at the wheel at all times?

I boat that size has a full time crew...

With a full time salary. That basically runs your boat for you to keep everything smooth while you're away making your millions.

I think the rule of thumb for yachts is 10% of the cost of the boat is needed for upkeep and operating cost annually....
