Beats the throw home on a grounder to third from b Phillips afterwards

Hamilton's speed is a game changer. Hopefully he learns how to get on base more. That trip he had in St. Louis was nuts. A single, steals second on next pitch, tags and goes to third on shallow fly to right, then tags on scores on another VERY shallow fly to short right.

Yeah that was crazy

He has started this season slow, but hit in the minors and in his short stint last season as well

I never understand why they don't lay down a fricking bunt when the shift is on. frick. They are major leaguers, if they can't bunt, frick em.

Down 0-1 he was probably going to play it straight up in case Liriano throws his trash, and ended up falling down 0-2

It's not just about that AB. I see it all the time. The entire right side is opened up. It's still a single if it's a rope, or a dribbler up 3rd base.
